Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

Have A Safe Trip

Precarious?

“Yo.”

Were you trying to kill them?

“Who?”

The band.

“Eh.”

I can’t even begin to count the safety violations in this picture.

“Ah, they’ll be fine. Big babies. I wrapped the cable around the mic stand.”

You honestly think that counts.

“I do.”

Is that plank of wood attached to anything?

“Attachment leads to suffering.”

Wow.

Holy cow, who’s even on stage at that point? Bobby, Donna, Phil?? Where is that??

That appears to be 1973-06-10 – RFK Stadium.
And if you look real close, Jerry is standing behind Phil — wearing his hair in pig tails. I was at that show and distinctly remember Phil’s hillbilly hat. 🙂

That guy in the dark shorts in the left foreground is seconds away from literally having his teeth kicked in, isn’t he?

        …also, that’s not Donna, I think.

I’m not certain that those aren’t guitar tecks. But I do believe that someone is about to put a whole new meaning to “kicked off stage”

The Wall appears to be leaning at about a 22.5 degree angle.

In the post’s main (color) photo…can we get a Carbon Dating?

I’mma guess mid or possibly Early 73. Jerry’s got the Strat…there’s those dual Noise Cancelling Proto WoS mics…there’s Phil’s Big Red bass…

    ANY guesses?

Lance Kerwin on the ES-355 with Varitone. Just before he did James at 15.
