Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

This Is Not Rocket Science

“I thought Donald Trump disqualified himself at numerous points. But there is now this idea that anyone who voted for him has to be defined by the worst of his rhetoric. In the liberal community, you hate this idea of creating people as a monolith. Don’t look at Muslims as a monolith, they are individuals, and it would be ignorance, But everybody who voted for Donald Trump is a monolith, is a racist? That hypocrisy is also real in our country.” – Jon Stewart, CBS This Morning

People may not be judged on their origins.
People may be judged on their actions.

A man’s beliefs that neither pick your pocket nor break your leg are his and his alone.
A man’s beliefs that spread rancor and cause violence are the business of all.

He who supports my opponent is my opponent.
He who supports my enemy is my enemy.

Kindness to the fool is an act of the Christ.
Kindness to the wolf is an act of the fool.

If it seems dark, it is.
Trust your eyes.

  1. Calling another your enemy makes him your enemy…to you. It means nothing to them, has nothing to do with them, is not their business. It is yours to deal with, as you have given it all the meaning it has. Good poem, though!

    More Donna pics, please!

  2. You’re right. This is some dark shit were headed for.

    • Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most, that has made it possible for evil to triumph. ~ Haile Selassie
