Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

An underrated classic from AC/DC that, because it is AC/DC, sounds exactly like all their overrated classics. Who Made Who is Money Talks crossed with Thunderstruck, but I can live with that.

Also: both Angus’ and Brian Johnson’s hair is the best it would ever look in this video. Brian looks like a Geordie Oscar Gamble.

  1. I approve of this here AC/DC homage . . . another iconic under-appreciated gem.

Brian-era Acca Dacca doesn’t get enough love in Music Nerd Fights. But they were dynamite . . . one of the best live gigs I’ve ever seen, and certainly the loudest. I thought that things couldn’t make my ears hurt any more deep into the show, and they brought out the cannons and “For Those About To Rock” . . .

  2. I wonder if AC/DC were as loud as Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs? Billy mutated out of the surf music styles of the early sixties, and had refined his artistic vision by the time he launched Most People I Know Think That I’m Crazy at the drunken crowd at Sunbury in 1972, chasing a sound that was “like we were standing on a pair of Boeing 747 engines. It cracked the foundations and broke windows in neighbouring buildings.”
