Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

Worst Double Bill Ever

ratdog-corrosion-of-conformity

I’m all for booking a show where the acts complement each other instead of sounding alike, but this is not going to work for anyone; no one will enjoy all of this evening.

    Ahem.

When did this occur? And why didn’t I know? And who has the Time Sheath right now?

True story: my brother in law lived with some of the CoC guys in their stupid early bachelor days when they were playing house and frat parties.

He still refers to them as Corrosion of Talent.

Preliminary googling suggest these were two separate shows at the end of March and beginning of April in 2005; the Madison Theater is not in Wisconsin, but on Madison Avenue in Cleveland.

Use of Time Sheath technology cannot be allowed for a Ratdog show. Sorry, but that’s policy.

        Well, phooey.

My friend Charlotte, who went with us to a number of Dead shows in Maine circa 1979-80 has a brother who was once a member of COC. That’s the junction

Holy shit, is that the Madison Theater in Albany?!?

If so, then I have no excuse for not having been there. Seriously.

Need to go look at old photos and gigographies . . .

I was at this show. It was not a double bill. The guy riding with me got into a fight.
