Saw Tal sit in with the Brothers at the Beacon about 10 or so years ago. It was the fastest Elizabeth Reed in years, she was so psyched to be on that stage. She rocked a bass solo before the coda and when she was done, Oteil threw up his water bottle in jubilance.
First time I saw her was the Ronnie Scott performance with Jeff Beck. How much of a motherfucker do you have to be to be the stand-out in a group with Jeff Beck and Vinnie Colaiuta?
Plus, she has awesome hair.
